Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 (acrylic on canvas, 2000)
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven . . .
This painting has an encoded sermon of multiple spiritual meanings. Inside the clock shows the life of a flower, this represents our life. Outside the clock shows the seasons of our life respectively. So at the One-O-clock position when our life is beginning the season in the background corresponds. At the 4-O-clock position where we are a young flower, the background season is summer. At the 7-O-clock position, where we are a middle-aged flower, the background season is fall. And finally, at the 10-O-clock position where our flower life is old, the corresponding season in the background is winter. Then it starts all over again.
There are two clock hands represented in the clock. One is the death hand, which can strike us at anytime in our flower life. The second hand is Gods hand of grace/salvation, which can be RECEIVED at anytime. Hopefully Gods hand finds us before deaths hand, how copy? Time to choose because time is running out! Maybe I should have drawn the clock running or flying. The broken part in the middle of the clock represents space and how GOD is in control of it all.

ACTS 20:31 (acrylic on canvas, 2000)
Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
This painting is the reflection of the burden that true Christians have for the lost. The eye is crying for the souls. In the center of the eye is the Christian praying for souls to be saved, the reflection of the iris is a moon representing that the Christian is praying at night also. At the bottom of the eye are dozens of tiny people barley seen. The little veins in the eye are flames of hell fire devouring the people. The eye is crying a tear; in the tear is a secret ticket because the Christian knows the secret.

MATTHEW 10:38-39(Acrylic on canvases, 1999)
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
The puzzle of life painting is a spiritual window showing past this life into the next. It has a foreground representing this short life, and a background representing eternity for the saints. This life is like a puzzle that we are trying to put together, a lot of pieces to your life don't fit, while others do fit together and were meant to be. As we allow God to put the pieces of our life together we find that it makes a cross. Because in order to make it to heaven on the other side of the puzzle it has to be build in accordance with God's WILL. We must pick up our cross in this life (a living sacrifice) and then we can go through the cross to the other side to the greatest place unimaginable. So let God put the pieces together for you, it's too hard to figure it out on your own. This was the first painting that I ever did for Godspaintbrush.com

Sparky 11:24 (acrylic on canvases, 2000)
Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
This abstract painting is an analogy of what we are dealt in life. Like the phrase "she was dealt a bad hand in life." In the painting there are cards all around the boarder. These cards represent just a few things that can be dealt to us in life, these are not to be confused with tarot cards in any way.
Top right card (queen of hearts)-some people in life are dealt the gift of a wise heart, so a heart card is given.
Right side of painting (6 of diamonds)-a normal card with a touch of prosperity with diamonds. Some folks are given a normal life.
Top right under queen (10 of water drops)-it rains on the just and the unjust. Weather we are good or bad many times life rains trouble and more trouble.
Dice and clock cards (2 of dice/ t of clock)-these two cards go together to explain that time and chance happen to all of us. Sometimes things just play out.
Lower right side of painting (the king of clubs)-some people think that they are real lucky being rich, but pride goes before destruction and they can get burned by Satan the joker.
Lower right corner of painting (Satan the joker)-this joker has been messing up peoples lives since the beginning, and he is still trying to burn all of us.
Bottom (8 of clubs)-a low basic, some of us are dealt just the low basics, but they are lucky (blessed) because there are lower cards.
Bottom (king of hearts)-this is a card represents people that have a lot of heart and they are broken. "A broken and contrite heart God will not despise."
Bottom left (king of diamonds)-some people are very rich/powerful. Lots of diamonds. But a lot of rich people fall into temptation with that kind of lifestyle and forget God and turn their noses up.
Bottom left corner (queen of b)-this card represents that some people are dealt the miracle of a baby.
Bottom left (2 of clubs)-this is a low card; some people are dealt a low card in life meaning difficulty, trouble, poverty. But we should play whatever card we have the best we can.
Above poverty card on left side of painting (death card)-Death card is closely by the poverty card, many people around the world are dying in poverty. However anyone of us can be dealt this card at anytime (see clock painting).
Middle left (9 of footprints)-this represents the choice card. A lot of times in life we are given choices, thus the choice card.
Left top (angel lifting 2 of hearts)-this represents "blessed are they that morn." And how God looks at the broken hearted and broken spirited and lifts them up.
Top left corner (Ace of Spades)-God has the highest card and can beat any card in the deck. So no matter what card is given to us God has a higher one that can beat it.
Center and largest card (ace of hearts)-we all have this card with the other ones dealt to us. It's the prayer card, and we can use it anytime, anywhere. Inside the heart of the heart card is a telephone symbolizing that we have a phone in our heart that we can use to call out to God, but just as importantly the phone in our heart can ring when God calls us. Satan can call also, so make sure you have a good caller ID and don't answer if Satan calls you.
