JOB 12:10 (acrylic on canvas, 2000)

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

This is a poor attempt at depicting God's grace towards us. I don't know if I'm insulting God by trying to draw HIS hand or not. (As the other attempted portraits of Him) But basically this painting shows, or hopefully shows that it's only by HIS mercies that we are not consumed. Notice that the little person in his hand is humble, praying, and waiting upwards towards God. Imagine what happens to those who just walk where they want out of HIS hand.

Isaiah 9:16 (acrylic on canvas, 2001)

For the leaders of this people cause them to err: and they that are led of them are destroyed.

The message in this painted sermon is quite simple. The leaders of America are causing the people to err, and the American people that are led of them are destroyed. In the painting it shows a two-faced leader pulling the American people on the ground BEHIND THEM(because most rulers or bosses only care about themselves not the people) and the painting also shows the leaders of America pocketing all the money. They are ignoring Jesus and the bible. We see this in the school system, the judicial system, and all over America. And in the painting the leaders are pulling the American people down to the pit of hell. This is inspired by this scripture: Psa 9:17 "the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. " So if we insert America into this equation what will it read, let's try it and see. "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all Americans that forget God." Well this is just one scripture of a one hundred scripture bible study proving it. So that is why its so important to pray for all those in authority, that we may lead a peaceable life,…..

Sparky 1:17 (acrylic on canvas, 2001)

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

The spiritual analogy here is the world is as a sea of sin, souls drowning all around. A serious emergency, a global catastrophe of people drowning in their own sin. But wait there is hope. A gospel ship is painted in the middle. The sailors onboard are all dressed in their dress whites because they are washed by God. On the bottom left depicts a religious priest claiming that he has the truth, but he is drowning himself and leading others into deeper water, meanwhile just left under the water is a great white sin heading right for them all. Notice the 666 on its fin. The saved sailors are casting out their fishing lines with salvation as bait. On the far right is a sailor who is stranded on an island. He fell of the ship because he was complacent just like the one sailor on a lawn chair on the forecastle of the ship. The guy on the island is trying to get back onto the gospel ship to save souls again.

COLOSSIANS 3:2 (acrylic on canvas, 2000)

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

By far this painting is the most spiritually powerful work of art that God has ever used me to paint. In 1993, when I was a Christian, I was over seas, serving in the military, and God laid it on my heart to write my anointed pastor back in Virginia. As a baby Christian, I had no fellowship where I was. I was hanging onto GOD (JESUS CHRIST) with all my might. At the end of the letter I drew this image in a quick sketch. When the pastor received the letter and drawing it became the sermon for his Sunday message. God used it to reach dozens. So now I have painted the image and hope that its spiritual message reaches millions.

I'm not going to explain this one, it speaks by itself. May God open your heart to see its message?
