1st CHR. 28:9 (acrylic on canvas, 2000)

and thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off forever.

This painting depicts The Eye of God looking into the heart of man, God seeing all the filth that is in our heart's mind. It is my personal belief that God is grieved at what He sees in our hearts today. The tear drop falling to the flames of hell is an analogy that It's not God's will that any should perish. But the truth is many of us will end up in hell.

EPH. 4:5 (acrylic on canvas, 2000) (this one's for you Billy, the teaching is for free!)

One Lord, One faith, One baptism

This painting is designed to CUT straight to the truth of it all. Hopefully all the others get the point. The painting's background shows a multiplicity of religions and beliefs. Each one trying to say it's above the other in correctness and truth. Well God said it Himself when He walked down here on earth that HE was the only ONE (the way, the truth, and the life). If you believe the bible than do you believe what it says in Ephesians 4:5? "ONE Lord, one faith, one baptism". Just believe in God. Why make it difficult.

2nd COR. 10:5 (charcoal on paper, 2001)

casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ . . .

This charcoal drawing has a two fold meaning. The bottom half of the drawing shows a man pulling out "Bad thoughts" or "evil Voices" out of his head... the man goes to great force to do this, even blasting out the thoughts with a spiritual gun. He is shown casting down these thoughts using spiritual aikido (word of God). The man also is calling for help on his spirit cell phone "beam me up JESUS" but the demons cut the phone cord.

The top part of the drawing shows New York City being hit by a terrorist nuclear bomb. This drawing was completed two months before 9-11. I thought it was going to be a nuke. Anyways it shows the statue of liberty knocked down, and crime everywhere. It also shows our troops going to war (right side of drawing). It is my belief that destruction is coming to America. In don't know when, but I do know that this scripture is accurate: ISA. 60:12 "for the nation and kingdom that will not serve Thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted." The top right of the drawing shows 3 bombs, or attempts on New York, the 3rd one succeeding.

James 2:26 (charcoal /acrylic watercolor on paper, 2001)

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

This drawing has a spiritual message in it. The EMT's are trying to save the man's flesh. But if the spirit has already left then the body is dead. If you look hard enough you can see the mans spirit happily leaving his body in this drawing. To many times we put to much emphasis on the fleshy man and try to save him. But if the spirit man is saved, which is forever, then so what if his flesh dies. We all have to shed this flesh suit someday. How is our spiritual man? Is he saved? Are we ready to leave? After this life, then the judgment.
